There are many lines or Lyrics of songs i love.. that depends on mood... Like this one.. Lyrics of 25 minutes by MLTR.. After some time I've finally made up my mind she is the girl and I really want to make her mine I'm searching everywhere to find her again to tell her I love her and I'm sorry 'bout the things I've done I find her standing in front of the church the only place in town where I didn't search She looks so happy in her weddingdress but she's crying while she's saying this Chorus: Boy I've missed your kisses all the time but this is twentyfive minutes too late Though you travelled so far boy I'm sorry your are twentyfive minutes too late Against the wind I'm going home again wishing me back to the time when we were more than friends But still I see her in front of the church the only place in town where I didn't search She looked so happy in her weddingdress but she cryed while she was saying this Chorus: Boy I've missed your kisses all the time but this is twentyfive minutes too late Though you travelled so far boy I'm sorry your are twentyfive minutes too late Out in the streets places where hungry hearts have nothing to eat inside my head still I can hear the words she said Chorus: Boy I've missed your kisses all the time but this is twentyfive minutes too late Though you travelled so far boy I'm sorry your are twentyfive minutes too late I can still hear her say.......
I've got lots, but lets try to narrow it down. 1. And not to put your halo down Around your neck and tug you off your cloud But I’m more then just a little curious How you’re planning to go about Making your amends to the dead To the dead ---- The Noose by A Perfect Circle 2. Clever got me this far, then tricky got me in Eye on what im after, don't need another friend. Smile and drop the cliche`, till you think im listening I'll take just what i came for, then i'm out the door again. --- The Package by A Perfect Circle 3. I'm gonna buy a gun and start a war If you can show me something worth fighting for I'm gonna buy this place was what i said Blame it upon a rush of blood to the head. ---- A Rush of Blood to the Head by Coldplay The piece you read in my signature. Its from the song "I wish you were here" by Incubus. This is all i can remmember right now. More if i recollect later.
Beyond the horizon of the place we lived when we were young In a world of magnets and miracles Our thoughts strayed constantly and without boundary The ringing of the division bell had begun Along the Long Road and on down the Causeway Do they still meet there by the Cut There was a ragged band that followed our footsteps Running before time took our dreams away Leaving the myriad small creatures trying to tie us to the ground To a life consumed by slow decay The grass was greener The light was brighter With friends surrounded The nights of wonder Looking beyond the embers of bridges glowing behind us To a glimpse of how green it was on the other side Steps taken forwards but sleepwalking back again Dragged by force of some inner tide At a higher altitude with flag unfurled We reached the dizzy heights of that dreamed of world Encumbered forever by desire and ambition There's a hunger still unsatisfied Our weary eyes still stray to the horizon Though down this road we've been so many times The grass was greener The light was brighter The taste was sweeter The nights of wonder With friends surrounded The dawn mist growing The water flowing The endless river Forever and ever
1. My signature, of course. I love the way the whole complexity of the theme of The Silmarillion is reduced to such simple words. 2. Pink Floyd - Wish you were here So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, blue skies from pain. Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell? And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze? Cold comfort for change? And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage? How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year, Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.
Hmm.. thats the best part of any song... the freedom of interpretation. Different people can interpret it in many different ways but the song actually does have a theme. The random pictures are used as imagery to talk about former frontman Syd Barret not being with the band during its successful period. But who knows.
I read about this in their Biography.. I cant post it cause of copyrights.. I'll try getting it online some place..
Take me to the magic of the moment On a glory night Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams With you and me Take me to the magic of the moment On a glory night Where the children of tomorrow dream away in the wind of change The wind of change Blows straight into the face of time Like a stormwind that will ring the freedom bell For peace of mind Let your balalaika sing What my guitar wants to say -"winds of change" by scorpions
And I know, it’s a sin putting words in the mouths of the dead. And I know it’s a crime to weave your wishes into what they said. And I know — only fools venture where them spirits tread. ‘Cause I know, every word, every sound bouncing ‘round my head. Is just static on the radio. Everything I think I know is just static on the radio. From "Static on the Radio" By Jim White. Its damn goooood. Check it out if you can, the vocals are amazing.
Wage the war on organized crime Sneak attacks, repel down the rocks Behind the lines Some people risk to employ me Some people live to destroy me Either way they die They killed my wife, and my baby With hopes to enslave me First mistake... last mistake! Paid by the alliance, to slay all the giants Next mistake... no more mistakes! Fill the cracks in, with judicial granite Because I don't say it, don't mean I ain't Thinkin' it Next thing you know, they'll take my thoughts away I know what I said, now I must scream of the overdose And the lack of mercy killings I love this Song...
one of my favs We got the afternoon You got this room for two One thing I've left to do Discover me Discovering you One mile to every inch of Your skin like porcelain One pair of candy lips and Your bubblegum tongue And if you want love We'll make it Swimming a deep sea Of blankets Take all your big plans And break 'em This is bound to be a while Your body Is a wonderland Your body is a wonder (I'll use my hands) Your body Is a wonderland Something 'bout the way your hair falls in your face I love the shape you take when crawling towards the pillowcase You tell me where to go and Though I might leave to find it I'll never let your head hit the bed Without my hand behind it You want love? We'll make it Swimming a deep sea Of blankets Take all your big plans And break 'em This is bound to be a while Your body Is a wonderland Your body is a wonder (I'll use my hands) Your body Is a wonderland Damn baby You frustrate me I know you're mine all mine all mine But you look so good it hurts sometimes Your body Is a wonderland Your body is a wonder (I'll use my hands) Your body is a wonderland Your body Is a wonderland and this too.. Leningrad by bily joel Victor was born The spring of 44 and never saw His father anymore The child of sacrifice child of war Another son who never had A father after Leningrad Went off to school and learned to serve his state follow the rules and drank his vodka straight the only way to live was drown the hate the russian life was very sad and such was life in leningrad I was born in 49 A cold war kid in the McCarthy times Stop 'em at the 38th parallel blast those yellow reds to hell cold war kids were hard to kill under their desks in an air raid drill haven't they heard we won the war what do they keep on fighting for? Victor was sent to some red army town served out his time become a circus clown the greastst happiness he'd ever found was making russian children glad when children lived in leningrad. The children lived in Levittown hid in the shelters underground Til the soviets turned their ships around torn the cuban missiles down and in that bright October sun we knew our childhood days were done I watched my friends go off to war What do they keep on fighting for? So my child and I came to this place to meet him , eye to eye and face to face He made my daughter laugh Then we embraced We never knew what friends we had Until we came to Leningrad.

very very tough to nail any one song......... there are lots.. in most cases its only a few lines and not the whole song that kick ass. for now, i'll just allude to a song that (sadly) very few give due credit to... "Motorcycle Drive By" Summer time and the wind is blowing outside In lower Chelsea and I don't know What I'm doing in this city The sun is always in my eyes It crashes through the windows And I'm sleeping on the couch When I came to visit you That's when I knew, That I could never have you I knew that before you did Still I'm the one who's stupid And there's this burning Like there's always been I never been so alone And I've never been so alive Visions of you on a motorcycle drive by The cigarette ash flies in your eyes And you don't mind, you smile And say the world doesn't fit with you I don't believe you, you're so serene Careening through the universe Your axis on a tilt, you're guiltless and free I hope you take a piece of me with you And there's things I'd like to do That you don't believe in I would like to build something But you never see it happen And there's this burning Like there's always been I've never been so alone And I've, I've never been so alive And there's this burning There is this burning yeah yeah yeah....... Where's the soul I want to know New York City is evil The surface is everything but I could never do that Someone would see through that And this is our last time We'll be friends again I'll get over you, you'll wonder who I am And there's this burning Just like there's always been I've never been so alone, alone And I've, and I've never been so alive So alive I go home to the coast It starts to rain I paddle out on the water Alone Taste the salt and taste the pain I'm not thinking of you again Summer dies and swells rise The sun goes down in my eyes See this rolling wave Darkly coming to take me Home And I've never been so alone And I've never been so alive by Third Eye Blind the 5 paragraphs in the song express 5 consecutive ideas..... who among you have seen "Taxidriver" by martin sorcece ??
Floyd rules when it comes to Lyrics My Favourite though is something unusual: "I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the most of us...very hard to explain why you're mad, even if you're not mad..." (from Speak to Me) ...donno why but this one has stuck on to me
