opinions differ tho - some feel its the crappiest form of dance music... but not me.

My two cents ..
I think music in any form is good. and bhangra music is no exception. It has some really good some songs by some artists.
The problem is that nowadays every tom dick harry (pun intended) is jumping into the pop bandwagon. the MTV's and B4U tvs are flooding with new artists everyday. It seems to be the new way of making some quick bucks. And the easiest way of 'composing' some music would be bhangra. No wonder the Indian Music industry is going to the dogs. We had a boom of punjabi songs a little while back . Nowadays its the age of remixes , wherein you crank up the tempo of some old gems and add your crappy bullsh*t drumbeats to them. Its all the problem of heavy commercialisation of music. And I don't know how the hell do they work. People in India buy them too !

unlike you, i do not consider the ease with which one can gyrate to music, as the sole yard stick to determine if the music is god. since pearl jam, ponk floyd, rem, gnr, fleetwood mac, dylan arnt quite gyratable, i suppose you find them to be crap. weall yeah, what better to expect from someone who measures language by how much its flavoured with expletives !!
