Where to get Instrument Cable from?

    I want to get the cable connecting electric guitar to the amp in near noida. Budget is 500.
    Do not suggest on stage.

    go get a fender life time warranty cable (its worth 500 bucks)...i hate to say tis but u can get it from on stage or newhr else dsnt really matter...

    Since the audio signal from guitar can have frequencies up to 6000 Hz (rest is crap and static), you need to keep this in mind while going to a general electical / electronic shop.

    Normal wires for electricity are designed for DC or AC mains - which are max upto 60Hz.

    Why does this matter?
    Because the impedance of the cable depends on the frequency of the current in it.
    So unless you wish to sound as if you have turned the tone knob on your guitar to zero treble ...

    Next you will want 1/4" connectors at both ends, and some soldering effort also.


    Heck, why don't you just go ahead and buy standard off the shelf cable available in guitar shops?
