When did you start learning the guitar??

When did you guys pick up the guitar?
also tell how you started learning(from a teacher or freiend or all by yourself)

Myself i started when i was 18 and that was 2 years ago

 

Sadly I started too late. 16 or something. After my HSC exams.

Whats with all this recent guitar talk? You want to turn this into a foum for guitarists or something?

 

me started 6 months ago....first i taught myself da basics..now im lrnin at parikrama skool of music

hey me too wen i was 20 .. 1 yr 8 months .. can play decently .. i regret not having a mentor sometimes

 

I started when I was 26 :shock: :shock: :shock: But I used to play Drums, Veena and Violin before, so I am not a newbie to the instrument playing....

 

i14 to be exact...though i only played MI2 and james bond fer 1 year untill i reached the internet....

I err started pretty late ~19.

 

very late @ 21 ..... playing 3 yrs now .. self taught ..... i started playing when i was in 3rd year ..... was trying to do something constructive while bunking classes (which was a necessity)

 

i started wen i was about 9... but i aint no child any more, and i aint no prodigy either

 

6 months ago.....i am 14....i am decent enough:beer:
now i feel that i have wasted 14 years of my life:cry2:.....should have started earlier...

 

14 is good enough age for starting guitar
