What you can do with an Accoustic guitar and a computer with soundcard :-)

    Got an accoustic guitar and computer?

    You can do some real serious experiments like this one.

    1) Download "Guitar FX Box". You may have to search a bit :)
    2) Connect an ordinary mic to computer.
    3) You may want to insert the mic's head inside the sound box of the Guitar.
    4) Adjust various parameters of the GFB (Guitar FX Box).
    5) Rock the room !!!!


    What was that all about ?

    Well while playing accoustic, I always wanted to have various effects like Distortion, Overdrive etc. But you need money for electric guitar right ?
    here's a cheap alternative.
    Guitar FX Box receives signal from microphone (from guitar) and by adjusting various settings you can process the signal as you want and make it feel like an electric guitar is being played.

    You can always search for presets on the internet if you find it confusing to adjust the setting. at least I did at first !!!

    But remember ....
    this is just imitation ! The real electric guitar can't be replaced with such stuff.

    well i too know something u can do with an acoustic guitar n a comp, just take the guitar and bang the comp and see which one is more durable:p::p:!!ha ha just kidding!!!!Well thats a good advice will try that out thnx!!!:beer:

    silent dragon , thats wonly possible if we were a freaks like nirvana heads banging and breaking guitars and equipments.
    i say if u got a gud soundcard and a nice computer with gud speed, one of the formost things that u can do for as passtime and fun is turn on the volume loud n irritate ur neighbours.or download an guitar effect processor that available quite commonly in net, but getta gud version and play guitar with some awsome effects.
    thats all i do here.

    I simply follow a straight-cut methodology.. Tag-in the mike in my sound-box.. Turn-on the sound recorder.. And then record what I play.. But Do i?? eh' I don't remember..:|..I follow this when i'm in some open chat room and want to irritate the chatters..ehe heh'
