Are you happy with is , i was using IE and it sucked ,, i am quite happy with mozilla and it rocks , ./././
I had some BAD experience with Mozilla. I do a lot of net banking and Mozilla wasn't promising on this front. Haven't tried the latest versions though.
I use IE when running Windows and Mozilla when running Linux...both r fine...but there r many exploits for IE...hehe!
i use Mozilla and Slim Browser by Flash Peak.. slim browser is great.. it take too less storagee and ram to run...
@bobby ...well i ain't no guru hacker (just learning !) but u can check out the exploits at the MS site. like there r many that associate themselves with IE and run in the background when IE is launched. for example...there is the w32.spybot worm that usually creates a dummy explorer executable Explorer.exe or iexplore.exe in system32 folder...and logs ur browsing info to a ftp which when traced leads to a apache server test site!!...i guess someone uses that to route their hack attempts through a seemingly harmless site. It also creates TFTP files that officially seem to contain 0 byte data according to the header but actually contain ur browsing patterns...Also it copies itself to the sytem restore IE state..so that when u restart IE after running antivirus..it's again there... It does this thru the registry keys in various folders such as HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx etc. This is pretty basic but shud give u an idea of how IE is hacked...u can find most of this info on many antivirus sites...
 , no wonder i saw all those hippies turning to gentlemens , they have some good stake in antivirus cos ...
I use IE(6.0.2800) with SP1 and two other critical updates! Sometimes Mozilla Firefox(v1.0) and rarely Opera(v 7.0) REgards, Zooom..!!
Mostly IE, sometimes Firefox and Opera rarely. IE is the most compatible and versatile, although it sucks when it comes to security/adware/viruses. Opera is amazingly FAST. Firefox is safe and fast, but it has problems with pages - for eg. it doesnt display tables, coloursand videos etc properly. Also, both Firefox and Opera have download managers.
