urgent pick ups query...

i own an ibanez...i want to replace the bridge pick up to emg hz4..will these pickups fit on my guitar or does my guitar need modification..

yaa the emg will fit, but why do u want to buy this one.. it sucks.. its nnot worth it..

 

then wat do u suggest..i think a lot of guitarists in the international circuit use this one...n i don like emg81 much...

 

Very few guitarists in the international circuit use the HZ...only alexi laiho uses them lol.

And get seymour duncans or if its an ibanez get dimarzios

 

well wat do u say bout the duncan dimebucker....will it fit on my guitar...is it worth buying...???

ya.. the dimebucker will fit.. and alexi also has a gain booster setup on his guitar ... many people dont know abt it..also what kindof music do u play..

 

i play mostly...metal...pantera metallica..etc

 

Yeah the gain booster (MM-04) tries to give him better tone, but it still doesnt work . I suggest you go actives... Ive been playing on a guitar with the 81/85 config and the tone is just AMAZING for metal. And the cleans are not bad at all....
