it's like continous notes....if you listen to the song, the first bit of music that comes in after the drums is a deep "pum pum pum pum pum pum pum pum" sound which is the bass guitar and that way of playing bass is called power bass. In this case, you'll be playing 8 notes for every chord change.

On an acoustic, try to play the note on the lowest octave possible. The tabs ansh posted are correct.
bjr is right play the root note of the particular chord tatz being played.that's we guys do most of the time,since we don't have a bassist.
with or without u -chords D A Bm G strum---- (down up ),4 time on each chord hope it works for u guys......
