R D Burman. Gulzar. Two geniuses = 1 classic. This song has extensive use of the guitar ... yet, is quite simple to play, even the interludes/solos ... I've posted the chords for the entire song, and in the portions where a riff is played after a line (that happens quite often in this song), I have even tabbed the riffs ... I hope the post and formatting is not very confusing, just wanted to post everything this amazing song has to offer Just play along while listening to the song, if there's any confusion ... ============================== Intro ------------3---- E ----------3------ B -4-5----5-------- G O [G]Tujhse naaraaz [Am]nahi zindagi [C] hairaan [Am] hoon main Then, the electric guitar plays -3h5-3-----10-8-- E -------5--------- B O hairaan [G]hoon main Then, the electric guitar plays -2h3p2-----7-3--- E --------3-------- B [G] Tere masoom [Am]sawalon se [C] pareshaan [Am] hooN main O pareshaan [G] hoon main [G]Tujhse naaraaz [Am]nahi zindagi [C] hairaan [Am]hoon main O [G]hairaan hoon main Then, the electric guitar plays -2h3p2-----7-3--- E --------3-------- B [G] Tere masoom [Am]sawalon se [C] pareshaan [Am] hooN main O pareshaan [G] hoon main Then, the guitar interlude follows: -2h3p2------------3-2----2--3---7-----3-----------5-3-2-5------ E -------5-3-2-1----------------5----------5-----5--------------- B ----------------4-----4-------------4------4------------------- G After this guitar bit, some more music's there, the chords of which are Bm C D Am G [Bm] Jeene ke liye socha hi na hi, [Am] dard sambhalane [C] [G] honge [Bm] Jeene ke liye socha hi na hi, [Am] dard sambhalane [C] [G] honge [Bm] Muskuraoon to, muskurane ke [Am] karz utaarne [C][G] honge [Bm] O muskuraoon [Am] kabhi [Am] toh lagata hai [D] Jaise hothon pe [C] karz rakhaa [G] hai [G]Tujhse naaraaz [Am]nahi zindagi [C] hairaan [Am]hoon main O [G]hairaan hoon main [G] Tere masoom [Am]sawalon se [C] pareshaan [Am] hooN main O pareshaan [G] hoon main Then, music follows, the chords of which G D Am D C D G D Am D C G -10-8-7------------------------------7-7---7-8-10-- E --------10-8-7----------7-10-10---8------8--------- B ----------------9---7-7---------------------------- G [Bm] Zindagi tere gham ne hamain [Am] rishte naye [C] [G] samajhaye [Bm] Zindagi tere gham ne hamain [Am] rishte naye [C] [G] samajhaye [Bm] Mile jo hamain dhoop main mile [Am] chhaanv ke thande [C] [G] saaye O [G]Tujhse naaraaz [Am]nahi zindagi [C] hairaan [Am]hoon main O [G]hairaan hoon main Then, the music speedens, during which the following notes are played: --------------------------------2-----2----------3-7---- E ---------------------3-5------5-----5----------5-------- B -0-4-6----0-4-6----4--------4-----4-------------------- G Then, hold the Em chord on the 7th fret (xx9987) and play the strings one-by-one i.e. an arpeggio Then, play another arpeggio of the chord (xx9986) Then, finally play -5-2-3---------- E (thinnest string) [Bm] Aaj agar bhar ayi hai, [Am] boondein baras [C] [G] jaayengi [Bm] Aaj agar bhar ayi hai, [Am] boondein baras [C] [G] jaayengi [Bm] Kal kya pata inke liye [Am] aakhen taras [C] [G] jayengi [Bm]O Jaane kab [Am] gum hua, [Am] kahan khoya [D] Ek aansoon [C] chhupake rakha [G] tha After this line, a tiny riff is heard very faintly which is: -3h5-3-------- A -------3------ e (thickest string) O [G]Tujhse naaraaz [Am]nahi zindagi [C] hairaan [Am]hoon main O [G]hairaan hoon main Then, the guitar plays -2h3p2-----7-3--- E --------3-------- B [G] Tere masoom [Am]sawalon se [C] pareshaan [Am] hooN main O pareshaan [G] hoon main [G] O pareshaan hoon mein [G] O pareshaan hoon mein ================================== And that's all and done with. Well Ashish, this was the song in toto ... Or do you mean vocal melody ... will tab that if you want, but I doubt it would sound all that good that way ... Thank you to everyone else ... looking forward to more comments/reps ;-) - Raj.
Hi , good effort! But I have a doubt, does the para (jeene ke liye..and so on) start with Bm ?? I played it with G and it does not sound bad at all ! You may try that too.I may be wrong, just a doubt.
