1. teuffel tesla 2. teuffel birdfish (www.teuffel.com) 3. marleaux-pagelli golden fretless 4. 57 stratocaster 5. chapman grand stick (ironwood) 6. selmer maccaferri 7. '59 les paul nothing else i really lust for as such, but some honorable mentions: 8. a wal (like justin chancellors or geddy lee's older one) 9. synthaxe (technically, it isn't a guitar, but i'll let it qualify.) 10. zon hyperbass just missed the cut: matt bellamy's manson (only he knows how to use it musically, anybody else using it is just copying his stuff), stingray and agile 8 (accessible/affordable), warr guitars (brilliant, but i personally prefer the chapman sticks signature sound).
^Folks like him will bring some sense here, what's so bad bout that? Teuffel really seems to treat their guitars like works of art. Would love to check one out someday. My mention - Ashbory bass ...for the luls.
the teuffel is RIDICULOUS. played the tesla and experienced the birdfish being played. amp provided was a bogner, but i'm not sure whether it was the Ă¼berschall or the ecstasy. my skeleton liquified and seeped out through my ears. jesus, WHAT A ****ING GUITAR. the engineering is, as would be expected from a bavarian (ok, border of bavaria and suevia), unbelievably precise. felt like butter. 7 strings on a shortscale with the low end of a baritone? not possible, i'd normally say. the pickups are something different altogether, never heard anything that comes close. i thanked uli teuffel profusely after my bones had reassembled for letting me play it and promised him that i would buy it if i ever had €5500 to spare. yes, i would take the tesla over a used car. it's not like any guitar i've ever played, and i've played a few till date. for anyone who wants to break out of the mold of traditional sounds and explore sonic possibilities beyond the ordinary, this is the shit. only wish - that it had a sustainer with harmonic and mixed modes. for normal sustain, it's hard to believe, but that little body and short neck can sustain notes for days. the birdfish is crazy too. but funds are limited and i'm not mukeshbhai. i'd pick the tesla over the birdfish, unless it was definitely impossible to acquire the latter.
 dunno if that'll work, but i can't be bothered to look up the real thing. let the wishlists go on. anyone like the gretsch white falcon? a bit overseen in music videos, but it's still a beautiful guitar.
i have a few 1) Dave Mustaine VMNT Angel of Death 2) ESP KH2 Kirk Hammett signature 3) B C Rich Warlock 4) Gibson Explorer 5) Dean Dimebag Darrell Razorback 6) Dean MAB1 Armoflame 7) Gibson flying V

i laughed when i saw this thread. i already own a gibson lp, a strat, a jazzmaster, a custom tele and an old japanese washburn 335 clone. what i am priming for nowadays is : 1. a gibson double cut with p90s, 2. a sg (probably a menace) or an old ibanez as-50 (similar to a gibson 339) and 3. a korina guitar - maybe a reverend vee.
when i built my custom tele i suddenly felt a pang of guilt - my guitar tech in newyork laughed at me and said not to worry. one of his clients apparently had like 200 plus guitars and 7 of them strats of the same color/configuration etc!
yeah, i've been gassing for some of your stuff but i'm putting practically all major gear purchases on hold till fall 2011. sticking with what i have for now. i want a jazzmaster quite badly too, but i think a strat dominates the priority list. teuffel tesla.... when?
^Why? This whole lot, I'm just somewhat intrigued by them. I'll probably go through my life without buying most of them (happily GAS-free). 1. Agile/Schecter 8 string https://www.sevenstring.org/forum/extended-range-guitars/79954-ngd-custom-agile-interceptor-8-string.html 2. Godin Multiac Grand Concert SA (or other equivalent; reviews about their MIDI read more bad than good. Thinking of using it with a VG-99.) https://en.woodbrass.com/images/woodbrass/6807.JPG https://www.bosscorp.co.jp/products/en/VG-99/images/intro_L_L.jpg 3. A Zachary guitar (A 7/8 string if possible, he makes them on his own will) I want to play one and see whether the hype and the criticism is true or not. https://zacharyguitars.com/040705pics.htm https://www.sevenstring.org/forum/extended-range-guitars/16122-zachary-guitars-did-an-8-string.html 4. A CG by Arul. https://www.arulguitars.com/ 5. Ibanez Iceman https://www.google.co.in/imgres?img...&ndsp=20&tbs=isch:1&ei=xWMYTL2rMIuwrAf_1t2bCg Project guitars : for the purpose of 'upgrade it to the extreme' (if I'm ever rich and idle enough) 6. An under 40k Ibanez S/RG series 7. Another RG7321 (I won't repaint my current one then, and it'll have 'vintage value'...like 80 years down the line. xD). Wonderful guitar for modding indeed. 8. Yamaha Pacifica 112/Squier Tele (or a Greg Bennett copy, 'Formula' series)/Greg Bennett AV7/TR7. Someone should start a thread about amps, and maybe threads about dream rigs, mods and stuff too.
