Thread gone unsticky again !!

Ok.. now let me bring to your notice again... my thread igt delhi meet report thread has gone unsticky !!
Last time i was given a reasoning that since a thread has been receiving responses/ posts on regular basis... hence there is no need for making it sticky .. but then..
why is it that the thread .. i have got (insert the number) posts thread sticky... when it gets response on regular basis??
I dont get it !!
Why are rules different for different threads??
Why are we allowed to make it sticky... if you people decide eventually whether it should remain sticky or not.. and till how long !!

+ How many stucky threads are you going to have in the CC lounge? It already takes up enough space.

 

+ There are still a few threads which are sticky for no reason.
