You're given a weeks time to put your entries in following which the judges will shortlist contestants selected for the next round. Expect anything from then on and anyone who fails to make their entry in time shall be disqualified.


If you want to grumble about the judges, feel free to do so in the earlier thread. Let's leave this one for entries. Feel free to ask questions pertaining to the topic.

i guess that did sound like an assumption.(i'm not even taking part.. i'm a lazy git when it comes to doing recordings. i cudnt give one.)
anyhow i think the winners should get reps and maybe have a little 'IGT contest winner' next to their name ..just like pacman champion..etc etc..

 

hmm..i have a few questions...like, if i am doing a vocal song..can i use midis and stuff???(as in should there be somethin played by me,in the rec?)
and secondly...eh..the screenin is supposed to be just to kick out the real bad asses....i mean..abhee toh i can keep away the fancy stuff no?? fer eg. just the guitar in the back track..that too just single strums of chords??
i hope i didnt end up sounding dumb

 

hmm, I guess this could be a problem since idealistically we want everything in the recording to be the user's own work. If you do use something from outside, even though it is frowned upon and may possibly be held against you, you should put in a disclaimer stating what part of the recording is not yours. This goes for people using backing tracks/karaoke tracks/midis etc.



yeah, this is just a basic screening so you can keep the fancy stuff away. However, you can also reuse what you use here since the contest hasn't really started yet.
