    As for me i vote for John Petrucci - Dream Theater ... I think he is just awesome :nw:

    Dude there has been like 7 threads of these and it makes other people mad cause people forget out other guitarists. Like you didnt add Slash. No one ever does. Wheres Jimmy Page, Angus young?? You cant fit everyone anyways....

    my point exactly...this has been done to death...
    and i seriously dont get as to y slash never shows up in these lists.....he is a friggin amazin guitarist.....
    BTW u also left out yngwie...knopfler...hammet...zappa...bb king...page....young...and many more

    Yeah exactly ... there are a lot of great guitarists around and preparing a poll which includes all those names is quite impossible ...

    Which is precisely why I would like to know your opinions :)

    Although , I feel Yngwie is missing.. Also Slash doesnt deserve to be in this Elite Category.. He is more commercial.. Than Technical..
