60's was full of rock'n roll .... and 90's had nirvana and very few other good acts ... Rest all r from 70-90 ..... So the votes tell ya

after 90s ... less of guitars ... more of vocals ... 80s .. max guitars ... negligible vocals ... 70s ... a good balance between vocals and guitars ... so u can see what ppl think mainly as "ROCK" ---> "GUITAR"
^^^ well i wana modify it further 70 - nice solos n professionalism without publicity 80 - improvement in guitaing standard ......n evolution of new bands > competetion 90,2000 - commercialism , popularity .. few power chords , simple riffs , no guitar Solos ..... thats why 70,80 wer best
who cares about guitar solos??? Its as if they make up the song or something! and what are you talking about there are MANY MANY fantastic guitar solos that came out in the 90s.
