combination of palm muting and left hand muting.. you can get same feel and effect on the open Em chord

For beginners in guitar (like me) - Kholo Kholo riff modified, just to get "close", here is something which can be done:

Type: Intro Riff
Chords: Em -> A (or Asus2)
Strumming:

Step 1: Em (first play 6th string open) and then rest of the strings
Step 2: A major (DU - UDUD)

does any one know how ehsaan plays the main riff in his youtube video of kholo kholo.....

 

Do the following step by step:

1) Play Open E (6th) string
2) Em - Immediately play rest of the chords
3) Just keep your fingres on the strings but play No Chords - Just do a Down and Up
4) On A (5th) string: Hammer from B->C#
5) On D (4th) string: Play E note twice
6) Play G note on 6th String and then just release the note like plucking. This will give the effect.

dude i also felt the same way.......except the 1 st step i strum Em twice.......but to have mute effect by palm mute is the real thing in this riff.....which enhances the effect.......also ehsaan doesn't play individual note as such i feel he keeps on strumming like chord....

u already knw it dude jus keep on trying u will get it jus dat play the E string open and nt Em twice
keep listening to the riff and record urself playing it and try to guess wat ehsaan may hav done differently

@swapnopia: Ehsaan is a Pro. He made this track. I think he also plays the same way, its just that he has got the flow which makes it look so easy.
