Hi everyone, I started learning acoustic guitar a year back and I am now starting to learn soloing. Initially, I want to know 'what' I should learn. I did a lot of research online and nothing seems to address my question. So here is my simple question. I have uploaded a very short 13 second audio clip. Please find it below: https://clyp.it/qocjptth Now, the guitar solos that are in between the gaps of words is what I want to play. The song I believe is in G, C and D major chord progression. My guess from reading online literature is that I should play G major pentatonic or C Major pentatonic or D major pentatonic in the gaps, depending on which chord comes just before the gap. Is this correct? Or have I got this completely wrong? Your comments would be much appreciated.... - Electricallearnerguy
