All spider exercises can be used as speed exercises.Even scales can be used to improve speed once accuracy is mastered..

how to be accurate

 

first of all I didn't mean that in an offensive way...it was an addition to what faiqrock had posted..

Secondly,
By 'accuracy' I meant hitting the strings clean (not causing buzz or any undesirable sound) and hitting each note in perfect timing...So generally we start slowly and once "accuracy" is achieved we can go for speed...

 

Accuracy : Not hitting the wrong string or holding the wrong fret + as anti-neo said "No buzz, Perfect timing".

They should not think which fret to hold before playing the melody.

guys what i hv posted is for beginners .. cz beginners dont know much about scales, so its just a speed practice exercise...for beginners..
