    I've very recently started listening to this band, and i wondered if some of our members could help me out here. Can anyone give me some good Iron Maiden songs to listen to? Thanks.

    Thanks a load mamasteen:) And can anyone give me a very good album of theirs? You know, something like their best work ever or somthing like that. Cause i have only enough money to buy one CD. And i wanna buy one CD.

    Okay, all the songs mentioned by mamasteen and jay, and one more. This is my personal favourite, "Afraid to shoot strangers". And their best album according to me is "Seventh son of the seventh son"

    Once you listen to Bruce's recording with Maiden which are by far the most popular, go back in time a bit and give the Paul DiAnno-era Maiden songs a try. The old-old maiden records such as 'Iron Maiden' and 'Killers' were thrashy unlike the newer Maiden which is more melody oriented. Listening to songs such as 'Genghis Khan' makes me feel that if Paul hadn't been sacked, Maiden could have recorded their own 'Reign In Blood'.

    Albums - begin with Brave new World... then best of the beast... by then u'll know how to proceed. Dance of Death is their latest so u might want that too.

    buy the album "best of the beast"....u'll find all numbers of maiden which were a gr8 hit!
    u seems to be new rocker....also try and check out other bands. like metallica, megadeth, sepultura, pantara, slayer...and stuff.

    @ Dist :- Its really sad when someone keeps explaining to you something.. Its happened here before.. SOmeone was explaining to me about Aerosmith.. Then finally he got to know, i had all of Aerosmiths albums and stuff ha haha...

    @jayanth.....dont u think its a good thing ....when some1 thinks dat this guy doesnt know there are some gr8 bands out there...and they tell him to check it out. its good dat some1 shows the rite door to the heaven.
