Signatures

I am not able to apply formating on the signatures i.e. custom fonts,colors etc..

Moreover we also need support to post pics of avtaars of greater size.

that will be great..but i dont think it will materialize...

Space being the biggest and probably the only constraint..

We have disabled customization of signatures due to security reasons. The bigger the avatar the slower IGT will load, people on dialup will have a hard time accessing IGT.

 

Yhea.. Avatar should be small and that should be enough to describe you..

hey m also unable to post my avatar..it requires a pic. of 50 bytes well mine is 19.5 bytes still m unable to post it..........why is this happening

 

dats probably coz da pic u r tryin 2 use as d avatar, isnt 50X50, inspite of da size bein under 50 kb. u can resize da pic u wanna use... u can do dat wid most picture editors, i spose... not paint.. MS sux..

ps: mars, u can try resizin urs 2..

 

Use GIMP.. It gives you quality without taking up much space.. Also the sizes..

I dont think adding a custom font or a color to signature is going to cause any problems

Tried to resize my snap..but after doing so..dropped the idea of posting it..

Didn't like myself in that cage of 50x50!!!

And yes..i also agree with dhim...how can adding colours and changing font size be a security concern?

 

Ok.. Guys.. We'll look into the matter.. To many options given to users already.. Much more means that we will totally lose some control here.. SO if we give you custom colours , there are other stuff free with it which we want to avoid...

hey i saw the size .......it was 49X49 pixels and size is 19.5 kb.
plus i tried it in BMP extension, jpeg, gif extension still m unable to post my avatar

 

somethin fishy.. i BET a 49X49 image file cant b 19.5 kb.. in ne format, it wud b max 7-8 kb. (n i juz rmberd dat da max size allowed 4 da avatar pic, is 19.5 kb, n NOT 50 kb as i'd typed in my last msg.)

y dun ya post da image u wanna use as d avatar, as an attachment here? i wanna chek it out..

 

@ mars.. yea, da idea of bein so tiny dusnt appeal 2 me either u can use sum oder image tho....
