sumone i think asked why the band name ios shruti. well shruti is a term related to music.
there can be an infinite no. of freq betwn given two frequencies. for e betwn 100 hz and 200hz there are n no. of freq. but human ear can only discern a limited no of them. each discernable freq is a microtone or 'shruti'. there are 22 shrutis betwn 100 and 200 hz
