in case u didnt notice the original supporting vocals does exactly same, since its mixed higher u noticed it.. a.. the off note namaaz kinda vocals is there in the movie as well.
for me prasanna ganapule's backup singing is the highlight of the song .
he is an ex sa re ga ma winner actually.. wait till u hear him do a kailash kher on yun hi chala jaa, i will be uploading that soon.

the direct micx from the house mixer didnt have the following... band members and people clapping in the end .. qawalli style, and others in the band singing at the end, that plus this main harmony vocals mixed live along with crowd response to give aswesome real time mix, which is kinda missing in this clean direct recording from the house mixer.

yes i didnt arpegiate in time.. as like he was talking i strummed off timing arps as background when he talked ,continued that while he sang toota toota, then started strumming..

dch was my personal favorite. my moment of the show was rajesh sings the second verse, with piano chords, and crowd goes woh ho ho oh... that was cool. moment of the show for me. plus whole thing was done with 0 practice.. each of us playing that song after 4 years... sam and studoo singing chorus without knowing hindi...
me playing knuckle piano for the DCH riff ,whcih playes behind the bass. on my ax7 with the pitch bend stuck at -2 .. yeah DCH was by far my favorite number.

    Good show Shruthi

    Hey Jay,

Just wanted to congratulate you and Shruthi for putting up a fantastic show in Seattle. I just moved to Seattle from Florida and Shruthi is the best I've seen so far. I had a band while in Florida (Fusion band). After moving to seattle, we don't play that often because of the distance factor. I am looking for oppurtunities here in Seattle. If you like to jam and get together, lemme know please. I play guitar (fingerstyle acoustic) and sing too. Influenced by Clapton, Floyd, Sting, and more recently DMB, JM. And ofcourse ARR, RD. Burman.

    Allah ke bandhe

Just heard allah ke bandhe for the first time. Excellent job on the guitar jay in the Ina Mina Dika show. I noticed the mikes were echoed too and that made the singers sound even better. Harmonies were also very good (it was prasanna i believe).

ps: I went to a tamil sangam show yesterday and IMHO it sucked! The bassist was excellent though! I thought the song selection was also horrible. Just my opinion ;)

i went to the tamil sangam show too. the bass guitarist anand plays with me in our rock band east india company. the guitarist studoo is from EIC too (he played for shruti too). i think their jazz ilayaraja songs were cool, their duppan kuthu songs became a flop. anyways contact me on my email u see on my profile. i wont be posting on IGT anymore, so if u wanna stay in touch contact me on my email, or add my yahoo to your messenger.

    cheers,

    Jay
