I'm sure u guys hav heard this famous qawali no. TERE BIN NAHIN LAGDA DIL MERA DHOLNA by NUSRAT FATEH ALI KHAN.

But hav u heard d no. T R I N I T Y from CARLOS SANTANA's latest album ALL THAT I AM.

TRINITY is nothing but an improvised version of TERE BIN NAHIN LAGDA DIL MERA DHOLNA.
The alaap has been improvised beautifully ...
Athough the chorus is the same as that "Tere Bin ..."

TRINITY also features KIRK HAMMETT on the lead guitar and Robert Randolph on the steel pedal guitar.

This is a must-listen ... for any of he above bold reasons ...

 

I was wondering about this myself... is that actually legal? To just rip off tere bin like that?

 

Carlos Santana has given due credit.... to Nusrat Fateh Ali for the song and has not just ripped off/ copied the song..........
