this is a very cool an complex song.. if u want to replicate whats there on the Cd.. focus on the strings and u will know what i mean. I am playing guitar arps for my band in this song.. which are not in the original : I wont mince words here, though i have vowed to be nice and diplomatic.. your key is wrong, and progession is wrong too song is in E, progression is mainlu a I VI IV V one.. E C#m A B... but it aint simple as that.. with all the string voicing.. i will try to transcribe it some time.. for now play this and expriment and find out your self E C#m A B E C#m A B E C#m A B D E A E F#m E B thats loosely it... during th D E etc there r hazaar stuff gogin on the strings...

Good one, Jay. I'd identified the key and the progression of the first few lines, but couldn't get much further than lamhon ki guzaarish. Please post the full chords with the chord dictionary (am not too good at all the sus/7ths/9ths : ) along with the arpeggioed intro and stuff ... Atthani, keep posting ... - Raj.
Vaise Jay, this is another theory query. Might be slightly off-topic perhaps, but I VI IV V is the C-Am-F-G/D-Bm-G-A etc progression right? i.e. the one used in Papa kehte hain and Every breath you take? Why's it called I VI IV V ... what are the other progressions of this sort? - Raj.
