Note: this is the guitar arrangement.
the actual song is more jazzy because of the strings and piano.. which add
more harmony.. but the basic structure of the guitar itself remains very
     simple.

it was kinda difficult singing and playing in time.. which i found surprising as its a very simple song. the audio+tabs should be suffcient to get the strummign pattern.
guys this song is a guranteed chic magnet.. practice playing and singing :p:

ahh jay, can u pm me the link mate, it doesn't respond even if i copy paste it. Plus i think the chords are right, though, i reckon they play it on a higher octave.
And oh ,hehe, forgot to mention, awsome job! (Ps that Ondra rendai asaigal song transcribing from kaaka kaaka was da BOMB!)

its also EQing and sometimes they use High E string in the low D and the thinner D string froma 12 string set to get a thinner sound, and he doesnt use a pick, i used a pic, plus martins and taylors .. u know the 4000$ guitars sound that way..

I tried this song in D major key (transposing my guitar to match the scale) and used something like

D - F#m (last three strings only) --- (first pattern)
    Bm -Bsus2 ---(second pattern)
    G - A ----(third pattern)

Havent tried jay's version yet. By the way me and my roommates are a big fan of Silk Route in general and this song in particular. Also I think jay, you mentioned somewhere on this site that you think mohit's vocals have been ordinary on this song. But having followed silk route for last 6 years now and listening this song very carefully I think that mohit has very shrewedly kept the song to a bare minimum simplicity. Any unnecessary ornamentation and it would have lost all its charm. I wouldnt have let anybody in the world sing this song in any different way.

    Subhro Argentina lost :"(

    nice bit of obsrvation chordminor..

wont get into a debate whether the singer (Mohit) is a good 1 or not.. but his ordinary vocals 4 this beautiful song has made it xtraordinary... its a vry simple but lovely song.. vry rare...

nyways if jay thinks his vocals aint good.. then so be it.. .. right now i am a jay fan :)

@jay btw jay .. as shyam mentioned.. ur Ondra Rendai is really a bomb.. gr8 job

    bye tk cre..
    Subhro.. :)
