Nice chords buddy! I feel adding a few chords here and there could make it sound little better. Try this and let me know how it feels. C7..............C..................Bb (u can add C at end of this line but not necessary) Ruup teraa mastaanaa, pyaar meraa diivaanaa C7............................... Gm (the transition in vocals sound better this way) Bhuul koii hamase naa ho jaaye Am C7.... Bb....... Gm.... F Raat nashiilii mast samaa hai Gm.. .Bb........................ C Aaj nashe men saaraa jahaan hain C................................................ C7 (again this sounds good with transition) Aaye sharaabii mausam bahakaaye....... Overall nice job. Vikas
good job, my dad plays this song on the accordion, and according to him the intro of the song.. the accordian starts with C7 and Gm and C . the chords C amd Gm when played together=C9 which is the underlying mood for the song. the first line has offbeat accordian chords Ruup teraa mastaanaa ................C7............Gm/C or C9 but accordion plays Gm pyaar meraa diivaanaa same as line 1 Raji
Raji, I see your point. I think C7 and C9 sound better than C7 and Bb in the intro two lines. I guess the reason for playing Bb instead of C9 is that the note Bb on third string (3rd fret, 3rd string) is the key note of the song. So the question is either play C7 and Bb or C7 and C9. If you change from C7 to Bb, the change is very noticable, whereas the change from C7 to C9 is subtle with emphasis on change in the 4th and 5th (change is bass sound), which I think sounds cool. So one can decide betwee the two (definitely C is out) So should go like this C7...............Bb........(doesn't sound right though) or C7.............. C9.... Ruup teraa mastaanaa, and similarly repeat for pyaar meraa diivaanaa Thanks for the comments. Vikas
