Hindi songs have got a rockin side to it other than just RD n others man,.. wch some how i never liked. RD Burman rox ... in real sense ... he used guitars in his songs ... and most of his songs follow "western music" chord progression ... like C Am G ... kinda stuff ...
he sure does....one of da few ppl in hindi music industry who used bass extensively....and wid gr8 effects...chk out sm songs frm 1942-a love story
yeah thats also true ... the bass thing ... and i remember that time ... the guitarist used to be "Bhupi" ... used to play awesome ... (i guess he is alive even now - and he has done some playback singing also) ... infact all the "guitar" stuff u hear on RD Burman songs ... were composed by him ...
