Everything that society teaches you is some bullscat concept.
Just for protection and survival of the society - perhaps at the cost of individuals or at the cost of concept of excellence.
Everything that you learn on your own is what really counts (for your survival and your enjoyment).
(being mean to others, X rated movies included )

Patriotism is one of those forced upon you concept.
More so in India - which was a collection of small inter-warring kingdoms all the time.
There are only 5-6 instances in the history of India (lasting 3000-4000 years) has India been united (that too under military compulsion, not because they wanted to be together)

Just see the Europe to know the perils of forced unification.

You never really understood my post then…
I am anti discrimination… so yes you can call it anti patriotism in a way…
But unlike you I’m not against anyone feeling patriotic towards their nation…

I believe in one world
So that being said… humanity comes first… then your nation… then your state…then your society…
Same for religion/caste/creed (not the band )

I said ‘we need more ppl like you in this country’ because when I lived in England they were so so so friendly and completely opposite to Indians
Most Indians try to do “for their own ppl ” first
Whereas there… they would go out of their way to do more for the “outsider” cause being new and feeling out of place the “outsider” would need more help

So that’s all I meant in short

India before your state and the world before India
