    What's the strumming pattern?

arunrx, what is the strumming pattern for this song? If i'm not wrong i think this song is based on Jazz, am i correct?

Yes, this song has got a flavour of jazz.
For the strumming pattern, it is easy to explain with audio rather than mentioning on text. If someone can post an audio, it will be good.

You can try any pattern which you are comfortable with.
To keep simple, just strike the Chord at the right places instead of strumming with a rhythm. If you keep doing this for a while, ur hand will automatically pick up a strumming pattern. Try it out.

    guitar beginning

    Just joined this forum.

Here is the guitar piece in the beginning - pretty simple. this is from memory (I dont have my guitar with me) in carnatic notation. Will post western notation if someone wants it

    S R2 G1 R2.. (twice)
    S G1 R2 G1 - S M1 G2 M1
    S G1 R2 S (N1) (D1)

    () is for lower octave

    and the song goes..

    S.G1 R2 S R2 N1-S.S and so on..
