Problems with Tansen electric

    Just as I aid before first of all WHY IN THE WORLD IS YOUR FINGERS GOING OVER THERE ? It should not. Now even if you do touch it it should not make that kind of a noise. sounds like you have a grounding issue with the pick up. Take the guitar back to the place you got it from if you have a warranty or to any guitar tech and it will be fixed. If you have any expereenc with slodring you can do it your self. But I say take it to a tech. But Just try this before you do any thing Try lowering the pick up height ( turn the screws you pointed out in the pic anti- clock wise and the pickup wiill sink furthur in to the guitar then cheak if it still happens

    actually you can use your pinky finger to mute the high e string while playing to avoid unwanted plucking of notes. There are certain guitarist who rest their pinky finger below high e string so I wouldnt define it as a bad habit though resting you palm would be much better option since I feel it provides more comfort.
