What do you ppl think about replacement of Syd with David?Did it 'saved' the band? Well,I think yes.Not only becoz Syd had gone lunatic but also becoz he had the control of the bands music.His style was very different.And in my opinion with syd roger would not have been allowed to make the type of music he has made over the years.Infact they would have made the same type of 'Syd music'. What do you ppl say?
I have a LIVE album of Roger Wateres.. and it rocks.... It does not feel very to diff from Pink Floyd... Syd literaly went Bonkers with his use of drugs...And yes I think the band did get saved with DAvid @ Aplha yes Roger Waters was PINK FLOYDS bassist.
I don't like them much. I feel most of their songs have only performance value...I DO like 'wish u were' and some song from division bell...can't remember the name...but the tune keeps haunting me...

Yes,pink floyd's music is rock music heritage and even after 100 years thier music will be played,performed and appreciated. What all do you need?I think that's more than enough.
