Pickups for Ibanez S470DX: Any Suggestions

^Which guitar does he have?

 

i am suprised you payed that much for a guitar and got shitty pickups.

i have a custom evo ibanez and replaced my pickups with EMG zakk wylde
try ebay each one cost me about £60 pounds. and with the evo pickups i took out i put them in my BC rich mocking bird.

 

@laney....hmm yea lol it must be real killer but the guys at EMG have specificaly stated that even though the pickups have been rated @ 27 volts the advantage gain it has over a 9 volt to 18 volt is negligible and not worth the effort on a 18 to 27v....it basically makes the pickup more responsive(W00t !!!!) and Takes away the Active feel (I still dont know what this active feel is all about.Ive not played any actives yet but sure would love to do so.)

 

Come to my house and try my Beast. It has active pickups. It needs some setting up though.

Well my brother had requested active electronics. I don't know if it was put in the first time round. They're some unnamed pickups, but they're quite active. You can hear the difference in output better through an amp, which I don't have
