petition for the punjabi forum

i think some of the members here wanted a punjabi section.


let us know how many members really want it(simply post in agreement)


then admin can decide if ,it is really worth to have it.

I love this site and I come here a lot just to find chords to jam out for fun. I don't like it when people say we don't need a punjabi forum because everything can be found in the hindi forum. Hindi songs and punjabi songs are two completely different things. My problem is though that even if we create a separate forum for punjabi songs, how many people are actually going to post chords for punjabi songs? It seems that many people don't even feel it necessary for there to be a punjabi section so the chances of people actually posting chords for punjabi songs are slim. It's unfortunate but that's what I foresee happening. On another note, since I know very few people will post chords up here to punjabi/bhangra songs, does anyone know of any places I could maybe order a book with guitar chords in it for punjabi songs? I'm in Canada so I'd have to order it online probably if it's coming from India. I might forget to check for responses on here, so please reply to me at: [NO EMAILS].

well i think there are ample good punjabi songs for guitar & it wud be better to have a separate section. Also it would be easier to ffind the songs.....

punjabi section

There are lot many songs in punjabi which can be played on guitar.
Many of my non-punjabi friends love and play punjabi songs.
It will be of great help if v can hav one such section.
Having a section of punjabi will do no harm to this site.
A punjabi section is welcome.

 

but see we don't have a large following for the punjabi forum,
in this case it will not be suitable to start a punjabi forum,

maybe u folks have to wait for some more time

Wow... I can't believe that since I posted in this discussion in 2007, nearly 2 and a half years ago, there STILL is no section for punjabi music... and not even that, hardly anybody is posting punjabi chords and tabs anyway...
