For the strumming pattern,
Play 1 (12) (21)
1-downwars
2-upwards
(Notes in these () are to be played quick and kindof together)

This strum pattern resembles Summer of 69 strum pattern

Listen to the song carefully in case of furthur doubt.

so while playing this part end the line on "C" chord.

New to playing and self learning..i can play the 4 chords above but can't quite figure out how to put them together to make them sound like this song...now i understand that these chords are kind of accompainemnet with the leads...the guiter piece that comes in the beginning is differencely played...anyway please take some time and explain in a little more detail how to put this to use..

Hi,
Seems like the strumming pattern is bothering u guys alot, For that i would suggest that u listen to the song a few times, Try to figure out at what word the chord transits fron one to the other, write them down separetely.
At first strum once and sing the song along, This would give u an idea about the song,
Then decide on the strumming pattern, This comes by practice, However i have quoted it as a reply above.

About the lead humm that also just for continuity.....

the song is very simmple, struming is easy , jus remember the count is of 2 only not 4.

struming is almost similar to this

C major ( tin ta tin ta tita) then change chord to Am ( again same thing ) then the rest.

 

yeah its like taht i have played it like that n it sounds ok u just have to know when to sing n change chords am i right!!!!!??????

 

u can modify the tin ta tinta tita pattern by using a strunnimg pattern called: TWIST where u mute the 3rd and the fifth strum. its sounds cool

 

yea tin ta tinta tita is the om jai jagdish hare pattern :
tin tatata tit ta is twist : so i suggest u guys should do a twisty om jai jagdish hare

 

cmon dont repeatedly give the same chords this had already been given in the forum
