Heh, Alex Skolnick played as Ozzy's live guitarist until Zakk Wylde came and became a permanent member of the band.
Skolnick didn't do any albums with Ozzy, i think he played a couple of live shows including an ozzfest set...but I'm sure any recording of such shows would be worth getting!
https://www.rockdetector.com/artist,6658.sm That includes a list of all of Ozzy's lineups through out the years. Some people don't know but even Steve Vai played with Ozzy.
Steve Vai has played with countless artists ... he is very versatile ... but overtly technical ... and makes stupid faces while playing ... Jimmy Hendrix also made stupid but comic faces ...
Joe Holmes who was a Student of Randy Rhoads also played for Ozzy for a while. I remember reading a review of a show he did with Ozzy. There were tremendous reviews about his playing. He was sounding incredible and best of all he did not play any solos that night. Joe Holmes also auditioned for Korn. When auditioning guitarist for Bark At The Moon, the finalists were George Lynch and Jake E Lee. Ozzy preferred Jake E Lee because George Lynch was a famous guitarist and Ozzy wanted unknown guys.

Hey. I am not pin pointing but do you mean the High E String as the E Minor String. When you wanted replacement strings, I assume you snapped your high E string. You should be a monster to snap a low E String or rather the E Major String. High and Low E is interms of their respective pitches not by height.
coz u picked that Low E and High E thing ... i must've read the post a number of times ... but forgot to take note of that hi-lo thing ... since u scrutinised it thoroughly ... i guessed that u somwhere worked as editor ... b.t.w. u have hit the millenium ... congrats
