Churning a love potion

Letting loose a thousand storms
I shudder to think the wrath they may bring

Intoxicating as love can be

Sweet as honey clear as dew
Drown me into them before i bid adieu....

Hah, we should write a book together....(with your poems doing most of the work)

 

It's well written but humdrum...a bit of a let down since I've read a bit of your recent stuff. Beautiful imagery.


The last 2 lines sorta ruin it for me. All I can think of as I read through that part is doing that exam handshake with my friends singing "Bread and butter, honey and jam, best of luck for your exam".

Out of curiousity, how old were you when you wrote this? and how old are you now?
