dude how do u think puttin a G instead of a Am suits... ? like this:

    D C G
Never cared for what they do
    D C G
Never cared for what they know
    D Em
    But I know

Try Em7 for Em and Cadd9 for C

    it will give better sound

    NAHIN, bad chords.

This is how it really goes:

So close no matter how far
    Em----------------D----C
    (upstrokes)

Couldn't be much more from the heart
    Em---------------------D-------C
    (upstrokes)

    Forever trusting who we are
    Em----------------D----C then play a G
    (upstrokes)

    Ain't nothing else matters
B----------------------- then play the intro again

Do the same for the second verse and then on the pre-chorus play the following chords:

    Em, D and C

    Then the chorus chords are:

I never cared for what they do
    D-D D--------------Dsus2/A-D--C-A

I never cared for what they know
    D-D D--------------Dsus2/A-D--C----A

    But i know....
    D-D-D----Em---
    (upstroke)

    Interlude chords are:

Em, Am, C, D then Em again

    Repeat verse
    then pre chorus, then chorus

then the solo chords happen to be:
    Em, D, C, Em, D, C, Em, D, C, G, B and end in Em

    then repeat verse

and then end with the intro again.

Voila, plz give ur comments and reps.

Thanks. Actually in the acoustic they play the same thing except they play muted d's after every normal d's. But i perfer the studio version.

    g0g0l ! SpAm

I think limaj_Daas is more accurate..
I think B7 can also be used instead of B. I saw it somewhare and I started playing B7 instead of B.

Anywayzz don't mind if I am not right :

Well, dude, it's ur choice which chords you wanna play, the chords i posted are, in my opinion 99.9% right because i've confirmed them with about 5 live videos. But hey, thanks for the comments anyways.
