Thanks for the comments, I will post an easier version tomorrow , since this was my first post didnt realize that when it uploads all the chords above the lyrics gets transposed to the left.

 

pnamblat, waiting for the easier version. Wanted to say that u can apply code tags around text to keep original alignment. I think it works. try it.

Also easier way to indicate chords changes to beginners would be to put chords within lyrics using brackets.

For e.g., Ondra {Am, Dm}ren da asaikal {G}{C}

Though i find that useful, don't know if all beginners find it easy. rgds

but i tink Fm7 suites perfect in the first verse

and C9 is held in the bridge...is perfect.. and do join Fm7 it sounds good

Hey guys.

Im a total newbie here and I'm totally lost.

You see, I own an accoutic guitar and went for lessons once, but I've stopped for over a year and I have no idea how to play chords! I understand chords but what I don't get is the strumming part. How do I strum to a certain song? Ok, like for example this song, new york nagaram, how to I strum along to it? Any pointers anyone?

I hope somebody will help you with this song's strumming. I donno much about this song, but you may start with songs having simple strumming rythm.

Listen to the song you want to try several times until you get hold of the rythm. Members also post here strumming patterns of songs as audio and as text. Some people post patterns in updown UD notation. See if you can follow that.

Feel free to ask for help. Beginners forum is a good place to request help and get more response. You can also search for discussions on strumming, many threads already here. Best

seeing others coment aint a mistake bro......... i made a mistake in placing F7 as Fm7.... but u do try it F7 suites,...... cos Cadd9 is very low.....

 

Sheerig, you mean to say FM7 and not F7 right?
anyhow i too feel on the very first line new york nagaram urangaum....it's not a F chord, or atleast it doesn't sound as perfect as a major chord. could be Cadd9, experts should analyse this.
and i think that's the only place with Cadd9, other places F chord is placed.
