www.soundclick.com/saurabhvarma hey guys, i got a soundclick site and added a few couple rough tracks one is 'sin and tears' which is instrumental kinda classical and blues and another is 'soft steps' which is 4 random minutes on 3 simple chords because my chinese roomate is a bit anal and only gave me 10 minutes to record on his mixing board i downloaded audacity fatima and others who use the program. i can do two tracks alright, although one track gets behind the other (if you listen closely, the solo gets behind some), but once you add the third, it's disastrous. if you guys could give me some tips on how to use audacity well with effects and timing and gains and all that, that'd be great because i'm still tryin to get used to it, it's a good program since its better than my pos sound recorder. anyways, please try to help, that'd be great check out the new soundclick site: www.soundclick/com/saurabhvarma feedback would be appreciated  -saurabh
just added 'teri aankhon mein...' acapella jam with all tracks sung by me, it's really short and also 'what it's like' cover by everlast no love ? haha, cheers, saurabh
dude why not make the mp3 available... for some odd reason my friggin WMP doesnt stream audio...but opens when the mp3 option is available...
soundclick is down...grrr always happens. I'll take a listen later. I've never really recorded more than one instrument on Audacity - I only use layers to add vocals...so the timing wasn't ever really an issue. I'm sure other pros can help you sort it out though! Anyway, I'll check back
hey kevin i made 4 of them mp3's now. i'd rather not make the other 3 mp3's just in case since they're pretty much finished songs and close to me so i wouldn't want to lose possession over them cause i feel like it's happened before. i also added a save tonight cover which is originally done by eagle eye cherry so check it out guys. i'm gonna make this like an audio thread and keep updating i'm gonna add some indian ones soon like chand mera dil and papa kehte hain peace up guys much love, sv
pink floyd cover updated with a rough draft of a pink floyd cover on what i think is their best song: it's beautiful - 'wish you were here' check it out guys, and hit back with feedback i'll keep the files coming as long as feedback keeps coming regards, saurabh
dude sry for the delay..... first of all you've got a sick voice! so props for that!!! personally my favs were save tonight, and what its like..was that a girl singing in save tonight coz I thought she could have done the harmony part for some extra flava...lol and nice scatting on "What it's like" i dig it...keep the tunes coming bro... later.. kev
yo bro, thanks for checkin out the tunes and the nice feedback. really appreciate it. haha i'm aight at singin, nothing special, still tryin to get better. it wasn't a girl on save tonight, i just double recorded. i kinda have 2 voices with the chill baritone range and high tenor range. i'm tryin to merge the two as well as my falsetto as the voice continues to develop. it only goes up to an E in save tonight but i just thought it'd be better in that soft tenor kinda tone for harmony. well cool man, thanks for checkin it out, try to check out the originals too and keep on doin your thing, you're nasty at guitar. peace, saurabh
