hi guys playd sum acoustic but never electric planning to buy 1 within 5 to 7 k in general if i am given a choice b/w a low end branded .....epiphone etc..from the u.s. and a local or korean what should i go for there's no particular genre i play yet just pick up ne song i like....(mostly with vocals)......
Almost all of epiphones are made in Asia (probably Korea). There are some high end models called "elite", but they are quite expensive.
well, if ur goin for branded cheap ones, then u can try cramer. u get cheap ones hear in chennai and if ur goin for custom made ones, then i think tulsi from chennai is the best. i even started a thread askin abt tulsi in this forum. u can check that out too. the title is buyin flyin v form tulsi. hes the best i reckon. and u can even get a flyin v for 10k. but i suggest u go for a normal shape one as u gotta begin from the start. the normal ones will cost 5-6k. and the tone is also really good.
^^dude yaar, thats kramers and their striker n voyeger cost the hell outta our dad's purse! @ankit - electic for beginners :: yamaha pacifica, ibanez grx series, givson diamond series! read their reviews first....take yamaha n ibanez into consideration...they are best begginer electrics around for a economic price and they rock!
Yamaha Pacifica is really good. GB&a, J&D are some cheap Korean brands but the guitar is surprisingly good for it's cost. Dont get Givsons even if you get it for free. Sevre Crap . Kramers are pretty neat. Even Washburn guitars are good. Even Epiphones are pretty nice. All of these are either made in Korea or China. Low end Ibanez is a joke.
kramers krame the cost outta you!....i got all my guitar, gears , amp within the price of a striker!:
oh, i didnt know that. i thought kramers were considerably cheap. but ibanez starts with 11k if i'm not mistaken. thats ibanez gio i think. my band uses that guitar. thats pretty good. has a good tone too.
