"1337" talk these days is more a humourous dig at itself rather than an accepted form of internet talk. Sorta like what someone told me about black metal actually being a parody. The actual elite talk has gone out of style like emo bashing....still fun sometimes but no longer in. fun fact: I have no idea how to talk elite. I just sorta ad lib my way through it.
^, didnt leet speak actually originate as it was what ppl thought programers/ the elite used. however, such people rarely use such typing, they tend to take great pride in what they're typin. therefore leet speak started ultimately as a misconception, and now has got to the stage where most people dont really want to speak leet, but end up doin so, or speak leet in a sarcastic manner. i dunno if thats tru, thats wht i thought
