Thnx pple to see this..earlier i learnt basics from my guru..but since 2 years i haven't even practiced..now i want to start again..i even downloaded tuner from intrnt..but it didn't work..as sounding not so good ! Plz help me and let me know how to start..i know i'm extremely new beginner..but then too..i know i'll get it..plzzzzzzzz help me !
download chromatic tuner its d best tuner u will get it shows u even a minute variation so u will get d best tunned guitar if u want i can send u a zip setup file of it

TUNING >>>E A D G B A do u have KEYBOARD...?? if Yes than Make ur first String on [ E ] if nop u can Tunned it Manualy .... after setup the first String ... goto the next one ...then HOLD ur E (First String ) 5th Fret with Second Free Note .... when matched it will be the A String now hold A String on 5th Fret and macthed 3rd String Free.... it will be D now hold D 5th Fret then match 4th Free String it will, be G then hold G 3rd Fret and 5th free String .......it will be B now hold B 5th then match last free String ...it will be E E A D G B E Enjoy ....
"If you have keyboard make ure 1st string E". You ever specified which E it should be? He can chose the highest octave E on the keyboard. That sound right to you? For G String - Its supposed to be the 4th fret. Please check your post before giving anything to beginners. People dont unlearn things easily. Let me also tell you, that you count your strings wrongly. You count the thinnest string as 1st string not as 6th. Get ure facts right before trying to help people.

u can look around the notes on a GUITAR fretboard first .. fifth note is the next open string Chord ....is it ..??? like E fifth is the second open srting chord.. 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | E----------------*A----- E --fifth fret note is A A-----------------D----- D-----------------G----- G---------B-------------- Third Fret must be B note B-----------------*E------ E------------------------- its an IONIAN Tuning .. do u know the notes on fretboard ..?/?
This is as dumb as it gets. I do not want to learn how to tune my guitar...atleast from you. You people just try to make excuses for every wrong thing you say. Here, you just changed the topic. I said you are supposed to count strings 1-6 from thinnest as i see ure counting from the thickest. Its not about how YOU count. You can't just make any rule of yours and help others with that rule. If you use a wrong method, do not provide others with it for God's Sake. And when it comes to the fretboard, i remember all the notes uptil the 24th fret perfectly.
