My first electric :)

    I love clean tone and went for a custom fender strat from tulsi...
    Got it some four days back and wow! the sound is amazing!! :)
    Wish i had really good amps to use it with :(

    specs:
    fender strat design
    pickups :korean, 5 way selector
    tremelo bar: yes
    color: midnight wine (wine red)
    Cost: 15k

    What wood is it? How do the pickups sound? Planning to swap them out? How's the fretboard?

    nah! black is just too damn common...
    wood- the fretboard is rosewood (i think... )
    I checked some pics in net and maple did go well with this color but not so well...

    pick ups sound pretty good! (playd a fender at his shop before ordering mine) plus for my budget constraints I wasn't gonna go for anythin else.. swap them out? Oh no, cud've bot and given him some other pick ups in the first place if i was having plans to swap them out so soon... :)

    fretborad is cool... good action, stnd 22 frets and pretty good, comfortable reach on the higher frets...

    paint job is convincing... my other choice in mind was crashocaster (check out the designs: https://whatyouwrite.wordpress.com/...-and-the-50-fender-custom-shop-stratocasters/ ) but settled for this one...
