My First electric guitar.

No, I haven't brought one yet.. i wouldn't, without suggestions from the experts. I have a budget of 20K. I have been playing acoustic for like 4 months now and am planning to buy electric. i think its good to practice on both rather than learning acoustic for years and then starting with electric from basics. Moreover I am stricly into metal. so i am kinda eager to lay my hands on electric baby. :

Before posting here, i checked few at On Stage Lajpat nagar here in New Delhi.
he showed me Fender strat which was like for 18K but i didnt like it at all. it just didnt sound the way i want. then i tried few Ibanez Gio and few other models of Ibanez. Out of which i did like one but was priced at 26K.

I checked out GRX and RG series. someone suggested RG550, but thats lil expensive. Please help me out here guys.

@topic... why dont you buy a rg370dx.. best guitar for metal in ur price range

 

Try out Greg Bennetts....Avion and the Royale Series......Avion wud cost around 19K and royale series wud cost u around 21K....very nice Guitars with melodious sound....Do check it out................

they are nice guitars but suck for playing metal... buy an ibanez or jackson or esp.

 

ya thts the reissue and i have this same guitar. its coming in 2 days.. but you didnt mention a reissue and these are limited edition.. i thought you were talking about the normal ones..
do check out 370dx.. i played it on onstage 3 days ago and it is amazing for metal, trust me on this, u wont regret :beer:

 

ibanez guitars suck!

for metal, go for a jackson or a esp. way better tone than most ibanezs in the same price range.

 

this is just a misconception.. ibanez dont suck and for good tone , you need to have a good amp + good pedals..
you plug in a gibson into a stranger and check the tone out...

 

but dont buy any ibanez below the rg series.. they are not so good..
check out laney's rg350dx.. its an amzing guitar and is brand new.. hes selling it.. see if u can buy it cause its a great guitar

 

as i have already mentioned..i am a beginner and this is my first electric.
i want easy playability with decent sound.

Kindly mention specific model in ESP and Jackson. i would check them out as well.

mh100 would be in ur range for esp... for jacksons go to onstage..
but buy an IBANEZ its has great playabilty.. whoever says it sucks iether hasnt played an rg or above model or has no idea of a metal sound... JOE SATRIANI AND STEVE VAI PLAY IBANEZ. i think they have a AWSOME TONE...

im getting it frm USA.. for 1000$.. even i am frm delhi.. check out onstage for ibanez and jacson and bhatia musicals again for ibanez and b.c rich, Bharat music house for washburns, aria, (both suck).. dont know where ull find esp.. check out bajaao.com for tht
