any advice never let ur guitard in an other possesion apart u never borrow it keep it only for u look at me now my E string has been smashed in, what a sh*t!! need to change it at once !
bad luck dude ... what did your friend try doing with it??? i can think of many wicked things possible with a metal wire ...
instead of changin broken strings.. i suggest u change the whole set atleast once a month,or once in 2 months ateast. so this way ur strings will sound good and wont break by that time. u can keep the old set neatly..and use it when u are jammin or give to some of ur poorer friends.heheh.
Why do you need to change the strings every 2 months atleast dharmatma? I believe that would turn out to be really expensive! What happens to the strings in 2 months?
1.metal corrodes.due to contact with air. 2.sound quality hence decreases. 3.strings have more chance of breaking. its not abt 2 months. the older the strings the worser it becomes. its common sense. otherwise y wouldnt everyone keep the same strings for life..

This 'gold' thingy got me all curious. I own an IBANEZ. Lets say one of the strings break and I but strings of IBANEZ. Won't it be as good as the orginals?
