Dudes and dudettes After 10.5 years in the I.T. industry I am finally following my passion and quitting my current company. I am joining a reputed Music Label as manager and my job would involve Hindi Film Music releases and marketing along with the World Music Genre. I have always been a keen music listener (call it appreciation or criticism) more than being a musician. And am grabbing this offer with both hands. What is this post doing here in IGT? Well you gain something and you lose some privileges. In this new job, I dont think I will have enough time on my hands to be connected to the net all the time; I don't think I will be able to log onto IGT as often as I used to. Will try my best to still be a part of this wonderful gang of like-minded musicians Cheers Padmanabhan aka Poopsie aka Bandbaaja
go! go!! GO!!! ... poopsie!!!! its great that u have prefered your passion over your i.t industry ... i sincerely hope and pray that u find success everywhere you go

No i was in a wee little company called inteliNET software since 1999, the company merged with the Creative Group (giants in garment exports) and became a BPO in 2004. Before that I used to teach at Aptech (Asset main office) as a training manager doing corporate training etc before that. Have done everything, from teaching C, C++, to coding in VC, VB, to Project Management, to Business Development Manager, to now Operations Manager. Lost interest in IT the day I stopped coding. and money doesnt matter man as long as u get enough to buy original cds, dvds and a couple of beers for the weekend
i know intelinet. its a big firm now. yeah, i now dat 'kewl' abt coding. i use to miss it when i was with my previous company. but now i am into coding, i'd hv VB, javascript, HTML. but i'd love to become PM someday. hats off to ya.
Congratulations to u Mr.Padhmanabhan. I knew u were going to rise from the moment u started playing on different occassions!!!!:beer:
