mgs3 hey hiya guyz have u guyz played metal gear solid 3 : SNAKE EATER yet its a cool game but i have some questions is this game showing situation before of metal gear 1 the real name of snake is jack ??? and whois the boss ??? is this game realted anyhow with first 2 versions plz some one summarize the whole story of the game plzzzzz
Yes it is set in the 1964. During the cold war. This time around u play as naked snake (who is later given the title of Big Boss). Who is the genetic father of solid snake (who is the main character in mg1, mg2, mgs1 and mgs 2), liquid snake and solidus snake ( the three of them are in mgs 1 and 2). The Boss is Naked Snake's mentor. Yes this game is related to the previous games. My personal opinion: This is the best game in the series, possibly the best game for PS2 ever. Lots of new features have been added like the cure mode (where u cure ur injuries), food mode (where u hunt for food) and CQC (Close Quarters Combat). I recommend this game to everyone, whether ur a fan of this series or not. Trust me u'll love this game.
It was made by Hideo Kojima. The same person who made MGS1 and MGS2. Hideo focused more on gameplay MGS 3 rather than on story. Although this is a prequel, you can say that this basically the first game in series (since it is set in 1964). So you dont have to play MG1, MG2, MGS1 and MGS2 to understand the story.
