For its price, it is decent.
Its far better than Stranger or Kustom.

I dunno how it is compared to other brands.

It is a good amplifier for practice and to start with.
Drawback is you don't have reverb.

And who's this looter bharat? Selling it for Rs. 4000? hahaha

    I've bought it for Rs2700

    See what his site says:

Bharat Music House: India's leading name in Indian and Western musical instruments. :RollLol:

Their website is way outdated where prices are concerned. Just call them up and you will get the correct price. I was there last week and found out that they haven't updated their website for ages.

ANyway, for those who are interested in buying an amp in delhi, here's the prices at which you get most of marshall amps in delhi:

    Marshall
    MG10CD - 2600-2800
    MG15CDR (MG15CD + reverb) - 4500
    MG15DFX - 5500

Anything more and you got ripped off. Check out the roland cubes too.

Call up bharat and ask for the prices. You can go and bargain with them when you wanna buy it finally. By the way, in case you got to Bharat (B-113, lajpat nagar-1) at lajpat nagar, also check out "On Stage" (located near Bharat at B-97, lajpat nagar-1). YOu can check the amps and test them out there, so it's really cool. The only problem i have seen with OnStage is that their prices are fixed, and higher than bharat. For those who don't agree with me, let me tell you:
Ibanez GRG270DX - bharat (13K), OnStage (15K) (before bargaining at either)

MGCD10 give the worst clean tone and distortion is muddy. Why dont you get MGCD15. Clean tone is ok, distortion is awesome if you want classic raw rock tone.

Eh man, I have checked both MG15CD (ronnienanand) and MG10CD (mine).

The only two points of difference were:
Largers speakers on MG15CD - which makes the tone more bassier

and the FDD thingie - whihc added (or removed, forgot what exactly it did) presence from the tone.

The clean and overdriven tones from both the units sound almost identical to me.

I got my Marshall MG15CDR for Rs 4300 and with the FDD thingie and reverb and nice overdrive, it seems a pretty good deal to me. Works great as a dorm amp. I have never tried laney but it seems laneymaney is definitely the guy to talk to if you want a laney in the future :p

Its better to get to hear how the amp sounds like with your guitar connected. You never know...
