Laney HCM 30 VS Laney LX 35

My bro talked to Ashu about this, but could not get a definitive answer. So maybe you guys can help. Which one?

Ok from preliminary research:

HCM30R is a normal amp with reverb too.
LX35D had DSP.
LX35R is amp with reverb.

The diff in LX35R and HCM30R is mainly the speaker.

HC30R has 10". Buy that.


If you are a sucker for effects, then buy the DSP one - LX35D.

 

LX is the series that replaced the HCM. So logially the LX should be better. The rythm guitarist from our band hasx the LX35R. Its got good cleans and average gain. The TFX1 is way better IMO. I forgot to take the video lol. BUt the gain on both the amps are just ok...

 

No, it was the MXD series that LX replaced. BUT, you tell me about yur amp, are you gonna sell it?

 

OH yeah lol i got confused. And no d00d im keeping it. I don't think it's wise to ever sell it. I've played a few amps in my little time and this has given me the best cleans.
