the strumming pattern for the song is 3/4 waltz..isnt it?

  6. Bandbaaja

    Bandbaaja Pronounced Band Baaaa Ja

Yes its a 3/4 Waltz strumming

    And here is the antra

    Kitne Gehre Halke
    A------D------D-------

    Shaam Ke Rang Hain Chhalke
    A------------D------------D---------

    Parbat Se Yoon, Utrey Baadal
    D-------------------D----------------

    Jaise Aanchal Ddhal Ke
    A-----A----------D----------------------

Aur is pal mein........ (same as in mukhda)

Note : the beginners can use the above mentioned chords. But if you've heard the song closely, you will notice the string movements during the antra which go as follows:

    Parbat Se Yoon, Utrey Baadal
    D--------F#m-------D------F#m----

good to hear from bandbaaja,(thanks for completing the song), just when I started to feel that IGT is not what it used to be... especially as bandbaaja and Jai have gone in to e-silence!

    STRINGS????
Firstly please dont take this as an offensive comment (as the others do)
Please Check your music system and your guitar tuning.
Also maybe the chords you've posted are as per your comfort level in SINGING

The original key of the song is E
SO the chords will be E B A (with the F# during Mujhko Pata Hai)

    Replace all
    the D with E
    the A with B
    the G with A
    the E with F#

the strumming is a simple 3/4 pattern

it comprises of 3 down strokes

    1 - 2- 3-
    d - D - D-

the first stroke is softer, and the second and third strokes have to be louder.

    thats it !!!

    cheers

    i checked everything dude,
ok lets do one: the song starts with a base part there are 4 notes played in the song can u just tell me those base part or the chords for those parts":
that would clarify most of my doubts....

    @bandbaaja
i think the strumming can be

    D - D - d

    also
    this also suits!!!

wait 4 a day or 2 i'll put up the the audio!!!

but where do i put it up can some one suggest??

is there some space 4 it in IGT??

  19. Bandbaaja

Ok in the key of D
    the base notes will be D C# B A
therefore the opening four chords will be
    D (10th position) - A (10th position)- G (8th position) - D (7th position)

In the key of E (original song key)
the base notes will be E Eb C# B
therefore the opening four chords will be
    E (12th position) - B (12th position)- A (10th position) - E (9th position)

    ok bandbaja:
i am talking abt kuch naa kaho sung by female:
i dont know abt any other version of the song if at all they are there:
    the starting base notes are:

    E ----A#-------G#-------Gm--------F
then there is a one more chord just before the vocals starts
    E -----A#------------------------------
    then the song starts
    kuch naaa kaho..........and so on........
u will find the starting base part also in the middle of the song probably after the first para....
anyways i dont know how much right i am, but it surely does not start with E.

    so pls chk out again
