Grew up on this number ...a very soulful song originally by Roberta flack and later tailored and made a lil funky by the fugees ..not to mention ..wonderful lyrics.

very nice effort matee....nice song also...the fugees version SUCKS big time compared to the original though...

 

yep .. kompletely agree wid tht ..but ironically Fugees wer the one who made it popular..

 

not sure about that man...when i was in school this song was quite popular...we had so many schools perform this one for culturals and stuff...so i think Roberta Flack's original was also quite popular...
